The Camera

What was it to me?

During the process, we were asked to make our own 'symbolic camera'- form an item that represented what a camera meant to us. 
The structure of my design was based off a 1920's style camera- the camera has always been something that holds a great power, more than its size commands, as does a rare camera used 100 years ago.
The camera was covered in many different picture/logos of eyes on each side. This was due to my belief of the camera being an extension of the human eye when being used.
When opened, the box revealed a hidden 'lens' and focus ring, a picture of a human eye staring right back at you.
